To work in New Zealand you must have, at a minimum, a valid work permit. There are often conditions attached and you will not find any reputable recruitment agency proposing you for positions that will invalidate your work permit. The city is situated in the warmer north of the North Island and holds one third of the countries entire population. Internationally known as “The Garden City” Christchurch is a place of beauty with its stunning cathedral and snowy mountain backdrop. The climate is mild, and Cantabrians enjoy the relaxation of the beaches during the summer, and the adventure of the ski fields during the winter. On average, temperatures reach 22.5° Celsius during the summer months, dropping to 1.7° Celsius during the winter months. If you favour a diverse lifestyle, Christchurch is the place to be whether you chose to try your luck/skill at the Christchurch Casino, enjoy an inner city tour on one of the heritage trams, watch penguins at the international Antarctic Centre, or admire the breathtaking 360° view on the Gondola, you will find your fix here.
Dunedin is home to Baldwin Street (the steepest street in the world), New Zealand’s only castle, Larnoch Castle and New Zealand’s oldest University. It also has a lot to offer in terms of entertainment and activities by the way of movie theatres, art galleries, museums, the casino and parks. The climate of Dunedin is warm summers reaching 20° and frosty winters dropping to 2.4°, with light snowfall. Dunedin is known as New Zealand’s architectural heritage capital, with some buildings dating back centuries, and this combined with its boutique shopping and scenic cathedrals and chapels, Dunedin in a breath of fresh air.
