Are you looking for better work/life balance whilst utilising your sound knowledge, skill and experience gained as a qualified electrician?
A rare opportunity is calling for you to trade in your 24/7 availability beepers, unsociable working hours and tiny, awkward working spaces for a cushy Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm position in a spacious classroom environment!
Your role will be to teach those who have signed up to do their electrician apprenticeship by passing on your sound practical knowledge within a theoretical environment. These apprentices are enthusiastic and want to learn everything this trade has to offer – so why not be the one to develop the next generation of electricians?
To be successful you will need the following:
- New Zealand registration, or the ability to gain New Zealand registration as an Electrician or an Electrical Inspector
- Supervisor of electrical work - 5 years experience post registration
- NZCE - Advance trade qualification (highly advantageous)
- Piles of initiative
- The ability to work autonomously
- At least ten years practical experience as an Electrician
- Experience training apprentices.
Although previous training experience is advantageous it is not essential, as training will be provided.
What you get in return is a great place to work, fantastic spacious classroom environment, meeting many like minded people eager to learn, excellent remuneration and the best of all – regular working hours Monday to Friday!
If you are interested, please send your resume through to Ashleigh.graham@alphajobs.co.nz ASAP – but be quick, as this opportunity will be sapped up before you can say zap!
