My client is a leading not-for-profit organisation that operates in the Midwifery sector; they are seeking a highly motivated Receptionist to join their team based in Manukau. In operation for over 12 years, they currently support 300+ members and are growing rapidly!
This position has on offer to you a variety of responsibilities including building rapport with and assisting midwives, pregnant women and children of all ages. You will be required to:
- Meet and greet and operate switchboard
- Making and confirming appointments for the midwives
- Maintaining clinic rooms – stocks, linen etc
- Mail and incoming faxes
- Stationery and clinical supplies orders
- Waiting room – monitor in case of distress and or delays
- Plus general administration duties
For you to be successful in this role not only to do you need to have a personality that consists of being calm and having patients – a caring nature that will shine when you are helping and assisting a wide range a people you will need to have:
- Reception and administration experience – Medical Reception will be an advantage
- Ability to build rapport
- Mature outlook on life
- Outstanding customer service skills
- High level of computer skills
