The Client

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Administrator to join a busy specialist practice in Epsom on a part time basis (4 days per week). The Role

In this front of house role you will be based at reception along-side another administrator.   As the first point of contact for patients you will need to be professional and friendly at all times assisting with all reception duties as well as the administration that goes along with every patients visit. Some of your key duties will include:

  • Fielding all phone calls and greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Booking and rescheduling appointments
  • Keeping the database updated with any changes and setting up new patients
  • Processing private insurance pre-approvals and taking payments as required
  • Invoicing and other administrative duties

Skills Required

  • Proven previous medical reception/administration experience
  • Good MS office and the ability to learn quickly and pick up new systems
  • A friendly and professional manner
  • A strong attention to detail and good accuracy
  • The ability to keep to deadlines and keep patients well informed
  • The ability to work well within a team
