The Opportunity:

Our client has roles open for permanent, fixed term, or casual! They are open to Monday to Friday 6:30am - 8:30pm, with some weekend shifts. Shift patterns are 8 or 10 hours (offering staggered starts) and rostering is flexible. This role is located in Central Auckland.

You'll be either a New Zealand Anaesthetic Technician with MSC registration, an RN with dedicated Anaesthetic experience, or you could be an ODP reading this from the UK who's keen to make a move to NZ?! (for which they will offer you fantastic relocation support and reimbursement)

The Role:

• Setting up, checking, and maintaining anesthetic machines, life support machines, and other equipment
• Discussing medical procedures with patients and finding out their medical histories
• Inform and reassure patients, and check for conditions that could create problems under anaesthesia
• Support Anaesthetists place patients' breathing tubes and intravenous lines
• Support Anaesthetists with the safe delivery of anaesthesia, including local anaesthetics and nerve blocks
• Have an extensive knowledge of anesthesia techniques, instruments, supplies and technology
• Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
