At Alpha Recruitment, we are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Medical Secretary. You will be an integral person in a practice environment, as the first point of contact with patients and visitors, and also PA for some of the best surgeons in the industry. This really is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PA who is looking for their next challenge. The team currently working for this clinic are pretty amazing at what they do, they love what they do and they enjoy coming in to work each day. This full-time role will see you working Monday to Friday, normal office hours in Epsom. 

Duties include:

  • You will be based at Reception, where you will greet all visitors and guests to the clinic 
  • Answer all phone calls and emails, and record messages accurately and pass on to the appropriate doctor 
  • Schedule appointments, and maintenance of exam rooms 
  • Invoicing 
  • Arrange operating lists with hospitals, anesthetists, surgeons and patients
  • Dictaphone and medical typing 
  • Diary Management
  • Support with formatting, typing and production of key documents

To be considered you will ideally have:

  • 3 + years in a similar role
  • Intermediate to advance MS Office Suite 
  • Great time management skills 
  • Excellent communication 
  • Flexible for a variety of tasks 
  • A fast typing speed with high accuracy
  • Previous exposure to the health industry would be advantageous
