This is a permanent opportunity for the best in Medical Reception and Administration! My Client is a Medical Centre based in Remuera. If you have a strong Medical Administrator/Reception background and have worked in a NZ based General Practice or Urgent Care Clinic we want to hear from you!

This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00 am-5:30pm but the clinic is open 7 days a week from 8am-8pm and you may need to assist with leave cover from time to time.

As Reception/Administrator, some of your key areas of responsibility will include:

• In all contact with patients, visitors, and other staff
• Patient information, including a patient’s presence in the hospital, as well as their condition, treatment, and medical history, is kept confidential at all times
• Accurate patient information is entered into the computer system in a timely manner
• Accurate patient appointments are made according to guidelines
• Enquiries from patients, visitors and others are dealt with courteously and as quickly as possible
• Typing for clinical manuals and documents is completed accurately and to a high standard
• The telephone is answered promptly and politely
• Ensure efficient functioning of the administration area

 To be successful in this role:

• At least 1 years GP or Urgent Care Clinic Reception/administration experience is a must
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Medtech Evolution experience preffered but not essential
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Effective communication written and verbal
• Those only with NZ Citizenship/permanent residency/ valid work visa will be considered for this role
