9 month contract, Central Wellington, Hourly rate

 

Our client is a sizeable government agency embarking on a significant change to one of their largest programmes. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager with operational business change management experience to deliver the implementation of a national system change. The focus is on managing the key change to the system, managing the implementation of an information sharing strategy and managing the development and execution of a communications plan to engage the sector and priority users.

 

In order to be considered for this role you must have the following;

• Demonstrated experience working on operational business change projects
• A sound understanding of information management and sharing systems
• Exceptional communication and relationship skills appropriate for stakeholders, vendors & users
• Proven experience developing and executing communication plans to engage the required audiences

 

Ideally you will hold accreditation in both formal Project Management & Change Management methodologies. You must have experience in the New Zealand Public sector and ideally in work that has involved large system changes. Cross agency experience is highly desirable as stakeholder engagement is paramount.

 

You will be successful if you are an adaptable, resourceful and team driven player. You will be able to deal with complex programmes and deliver under pressure. While this involves a chunky technology component, the focus is on the business and changes around it.
