The Role

Responsibilities will include:

•  Support and develop business strategy and changes to improve overall business results
•  Provide excellent leadership, outstanding people skills and management to Production Supervisors and a team of up to 30 
•  Lead and support Continuous Improvement activities to reduce complexity and improve reliability
•  Recruitment, training and retention of staff for manufacturing and packing area
•  Design/Manage training plan for staff development and retention
•  Drive and continually develop  and oversee Health and Safety
•  Manage the preventative maintenance program
•  Manage labour requirements to ensure costs are maintained especially during peak times and identify opportunities to reduce labour spend

You

• Have a passion for Health & Safety and a proven background in Health & Safety
• Experienced as a Production Manager in the Food, FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry
• Sound knowledge of problem-solving disciplines
• Strong interpersonal and leadership ability
• Capability to  advance to the next level of your career as succession planning for this role is a key recruitment indicator
• An expert in developing, implementing and driving continuous improvement for safety and quality
