IT Security Analyst needed for an hourly rate contract in Wellington. Be part of a forward-thinking team who are delivering trending solutions for the organisation who are improving the lives of New Zealanders

You will:

• Monitor and report on security platforms and services
• Monitor, review, update and report on vulnerabilities including contracting control owners and escalate problems
• Risk management and prioritising risks
• Provide risk reports to senior managers
• Translate policies in to technical deliverables related to IT Security

Skills needed:

• Be a good and keen coach and mentor
• Have a good understanding of IT Security technologies, platforms and frameworks
• Have working experience of cyber threats and how to manage them effectively
• Be very experienced in identifying, designing and facilitating the security solutions
• Be able to translate security policies in to documented security standards and good business practices
• Have experience with PSR, NZISM, ISO27000 or relevant frameworks
