We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts/Payroll Administrator to join a busy team based in Newmarket. The key focus of your role will be assisting in the processing of a large weekly payroll, however you will also assist with AP and AR. This is for a 6 months temp assignment commencing late March.

The key deliverables of this role include:

  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of weekly payroll
  • Loading new starters and leavers and maintaining database
  • Preparing and reconciling payments
  • Payroll reporting
  • Preparing of IRD, Kiwisaver and ACC payments
  • Responding to staff and manager payroll queries
  • Processing of invoices
  • Account reconciliations
  • Ad hoc admin as required

To be successful in this position you will need:

  • Previous Payroll & AP experience
  • Advanced MYOB experience essential
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel
  • Problem solving skills
  • Accuracy and a good eye for detail
  • Great English communication skills – written and verbal
