We are currently on the lookout for a bright and experienced recruitment professional to join our small but busy team here at our office in Newmarket. This is a temporary assignment providing cover for one of our consultants who will be on leave for 3 months, starting around the 11th March 2019.

The Role

  • Day to day management of a busy temp desk
  • Receiving job orders from clients for temp staff and shortlisting suitable candidates
  • Writing and posting adverts on relevant job boards and the company website
  • Phone screening and face to face interviewing of prospective candidates
  • Maintaining good relationships with current candidates and clients
  • Verbal Referencing
  • Formatting candidate profiles
  • Administration duties as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant experience in a recruitment based role essential, ideally temp recruitment – there will only be a week allocated for training
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
  • Ability to quickly pick up new systems
  • Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self motivated, with a can do attitude and a good sense of humour
