Are you an experienced Technology savvy administrator looking for a new challenge?
One of our large healthcare based clients is requiring a number of experienced administration/Reception staff to assist with the roll out of a large project, introducing a new system across the organisation. These staff will be required to float around a variety of departments covering the work of permanent staff members who will be attending training on the new system.
As this work will require you to be working in a different department or team every few days we require candidates used to working in an ever changing environment with the flexibility to pick up new tasks and systems quickly.
These staff will be required to start mid to late March and the assignment will be for at least 4 months, with potential for this to extend longer term or turn into a permanent opportunity, working 40 hours per week Mon-Fri.
The general duties that will be required*:
- Reception duties (this could be ward or clinic based) - dealing with enquiries, answering phones, greeting patients, assisting clinical staff etc
- Dealing with large volumes of day to day enquires
- Management of referrals and scheduling/rescheduling appointments accordingly
- Sending out all relevant appointment information to patients
- Ensuring all required resources and information is available for every patient - interpreters, transport etc
- Maintaining accurate and up to date documentation at all times
- Working as part of a team, with clinical, management and other clerical staff in order to deliver the highest standards of administrative support possible for patients.
- Additional adhoc medical administration duties, as required

The Ideal Candidate
- 2 years solid administration and/or reception experience, healthcare administration would be a significant advantage
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required
- Ability to manage and adapt to changes in processes and systems
- Highly organised and works well in a busy, pressurised work environment
- Intermediate level MS Office skills - Word, Excel and Outlook
- The ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Works well within a team environment
