Are you passionate about improving health outcomes for Māori communities? Do you have research experience and strong administrative skills? We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to join a large healthcare organisation based in Takapuna, where you'll be part of a dynamic team focused on Māori health initiatives.
This is a temporary assignment starting 10th February until the end of June, working full time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with research tasks related to Māori health, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- Coordinate various research projects, ensuring deadlines are met and operations run smoothly.
- Provide administrative support including data entry, document management, and reporting.
- Use your strong attention to detail to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, contributing to team discussions and project planning.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior research experience, ideally within a health-related field.
- Excellent project coordination and administrative skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office tools (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive).
- Strong attention to detail, especially for data entry tasks.
- A collaborative team player with great communication skills.
- Familiarity and experience working with Pacific and Māori communities, either through work or study.
