We're on the lookout for a dynamic Health Protomoter & Outreach Coordinator to help drive nationwide awareness around prostate and testicular cancer.

This is a key role connecting individuals, communities, health professionals, and organisations with life-saving information, education, and support.

Our client needs a motivated and community-minded individual to keep things moving and continue our critical outreach work over the next few months.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Representing us at public events, health expos, and community gatherings.
• Delivering education programmes in workplaces, sports clubs, and healthcare settings.
• Organising forums, webinars, and conferences.
• Growing and supporting our Education Ambassador programme.
• Creating and updating engaging educational materials and resources.
• Building strong partnerships, especially with Māori and Pasifika health providers.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience working with and facilitating support groups.
• Knowledge of New Zealand’s health system and the cancer care landscape.
• Experience in health promotion, public speaking, and event coordination.
• Experience as an admin user of webinar functionality in online conferencing platforms for large online gatherings (100+ pax): e.g Zoom, Teams, Google Meet
• A commitment to incorporating Māori worldviews and cultural competence in outreach.
• Strong communication, IT, and project management skills.
• Confidence in managing volunteers and reporting on programme outcomes.
• Full NZ drivers license.
