KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Provide planned nursing care & evaluate patient progress
• Undertake comprehensive, accurate nursing assessments
• Direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care provided by nurse assistants, enrolled nurses and others
• Demonstrate ability to apply principles of the Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Collaborate and participate with colleagues and the healthcare team

 SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Must have current NZ Practicing Certificate
• Preferably 2 years post graduate operating theatre experience
• Experience working in a New Zealand Operating Theatre
• Must be fluent in written and verbal English
• Demonstrated leadership qualities
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team & autonomously
