We are searching for a motivated and ambitious Business Manager to lead the daily operations of a new hospitality & entertainment hotspot in Hamilton. This multi-venue concept requires an experienced leader who can build capable, highly motivated teams whilst having the passion and expertise to drive the business forward.

This fast paced and diverse role will encompass many factors, but your core responsibilities will include:

  • Leading operational excellence across front and back of house operations
  • Developing the marketing strategy and implementing initiatives for incremental growth
  • Creating and growing patron engagement and loyalty
  • Attracting and retaining top talent, ensuring the team reflects the high standards of the brand
  • Handling employment relations including front of house recruitment, training and performance management
  • Booking, managing and promoting events and functions

About you

You are looking for an opportunity to showcase your organisational, people and business development skills, where you will play a vital role in the growth and promotion of the hospitality and event services within this venue.

Seasoned in managing multiple hospitality venues you’ll have a keen eye for operational and commercial success and will be adept at leading and cultivating teams for a vibrant company culture.   Ambitious and dynamic, you will enjoy working for a company that may offer a shareholding in the business in the future.

Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

  • A high level of organisational and communication skills
  • Robust financial management abilities
  • Working knowledge in occupational health, safety, and environment principles
  • Motivation for business excellence and continuous improvement
  • Availability to work on weekends, evenings and public holidays
  • A duty manager certificate
