You will be part of  a team of Schedulers and Expeditors where the main purpose of the role is responsibility for the day to day planning, scheduling and operational service delivery to ensure container availability and demand is balanced regionally.

The main responsibilities  include:

• Execution of day to day operational service, procedures and processes to ensure efficient pick-up and delivery of containers.
• Vessel and voyage confirmation
• Manifesting
• Proactively planning and executing and monitoring and managing the container supply for 3PL customers
• Liaison with rail, road and customer sites to ensure  a high delivery of service is acheived

The ideal person will:

• Need  a minimum of 3 years related experience in Road, Transport, Shipping or Supply Chain Industries.
• Good sound knowledge of containers and scheduling
• Excellent  interpersonal communication skills
• Good Georgraphical knowledge of NZ
