Although the team at The Johnson Group are not physically working from our business premises, we are still fully functioning and working remotely and we remain in close contact with our clients and contractors. While the contracting market is quiet at the moment, we are currently looking to broaden our talent pool so we can be ready to assist our public sector clients as we progress down alert levels.

We work with clients across the public sector, covering regulatory, social, environmental, and Iwi/Maori policy areas. Our clients are looking for people with a strong policy background who will lead and support the development and delivery of high profile, innovative, evidence-based policy intervention projects.

Key areas of experience consistently required:

• Strong policy background and understanding – solid experience as a senior or principal advisor/analyst
• Strategic, Operational, regulatory policy, legislation and/or legal background
• Delivery focused, resilient and comfortable with ambiguity
• Working with official correspondence and ministerial teams, including OIA and ministerials
