Hourly rate
Hours - 40 hours per week, but will consider 32+hours/week
We have a highly desirable contract Project or Programme Coordinator role to support the delivery of a portfolio of large renewable energy activities across a busy team. You will be working across a number of complex and dynamic projects as part of a large AID programme, whilst working closely with two Activity Managers, and also engaging with the wider team.
Looking for the following skillset:
- Previous administration management or project / programme support experience would be ideal
- Machinery of government – understanding of how government works and operates
- Good financial management experience and understanding is essential – this will take up 60% of the role, so looking for someone who:
- Is comfortable dealing with large numbers and complex budgets – their aid programme budgets deal with millions of dollars
- Some complex contract management work
- Intermediate level excel skills
- Procurement management and contract drafting skills
- Strong coordination and organisational skills
- Ability and confidence to lead and take ownership of these functions
We are looking for a contractor with experience working on similar business projects / programmes, rather than in the IT technical space.
ASAP start but equally would wait up to 4 weeks for the right person.
