Our client is one of the largest privately owned fishing companies in New Zealand and are exporters of pure, sustainable NZ seafood. They pride themselves on a history of innovation, flexibility, and providing high quality products.
This is a great opportunity to join this professional team as their Export Administrator. You will be facilitating, preparing, and dispatching all documentation relating to the sale and export of fish and seafood products.
Based in Te Rapa, Hamilton you will be responsible for:
- Document preparation for both export and local orders
- Liaising with international clients, Ministry for Primary Industries, shipping companies, and couriers
- Checking supplier and shipping invoices
- Preparing stock reconciliations
- Assisting with claims
Export orders require a high level of documentation to ensure product traceability and smooth clearance of goods in the destination country. The role requires excellent attention to detail and a methodical work process to ensure documents are correct, and completed in a timely manner.
Although not essential, experience within the export field would be advantageous. Most importantly our client is looking for someone with:
- The ability to be precise and accurate
- Excellent customer service skills
- A good head for figures
- A sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in shipping and exports is preferred however, applicants with an aptitude for accuracy, care and attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, will be considered.
