Content Designer – Instructional Designer - Change Resource
We’re seeking a contractor to make an existing change management toolkit easier for staff to find, understand and use. The work will support a new approach in which teams can access straightforward guidance themselves, seek advice when needed, or receive dedicated change support for larger initiatives.
You’ll review and reorganise an existing SharePoint Online site, simplify technical tools into plain-language resources, and create practical content such as guides, templates, quick-reference materials and presentation slides. The aim is a clear, visual site where people can quickly find the right resource and understand when to ask for support.
What you’ll bring
- Hands-on experience structuring and building pages in modern SharePoint Online, including navigation and content clean-up.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with examples of making complex material easy to use.
- Good visual design skills, particularly in PowerPoint and practical templates.
- Confidence working independently with senior stakeholders.
Experience in instructional design, change management or short-form learning content would be an advantage. Deep SharePoint development or administration is not required.
Engagement: Contract, approximately 2–3 months of effort. Flexible hours and working patterns are welcome. Auckland-based hybrid working. The work needs to be completed ahead of an end-of-January 2027 launch.
Please share your availability, hourly rate and examples of relevant work, ideally including a SharePoint site you’ve structured and a complex resource you’ve simplified.
