We’re looking for a skilled Community Registered Nurse to join a well-established Wellington-based palliative care service, providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients and whānau in their homes across the region.

About the Role

• Deliver specialist palliative nursing care in patients’ homes across the Wellington region
• Provide holistic assessments, advanced symptom management, and ongoing clinical support
• Work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
• Support patients with complex and evolving clinical needs in the community setting
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of a high-quality palliative service

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse with a current NZ practising certificate
• Proven experience in palliative care or a closely related clinical specialty
• Strong acute care background (e.g. oncology, renal, medical or surgical wards preferred)
• Confidence and capability working autonomously in the community setting
• Excellent clinical judgement, assessment skills, and clear communication

Please note:
This role is not suitable for new graduates.
Experience solely in aged care rest homes or dementia care will not meet the clinical requirements for this position.
