Are you an experienced Warehouse Operator or Storeperson looking for your next opportunity?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Te Awamutu seeking a reliable, motivated person to join their warehouse team. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role offering variety, and responsibility. While this is initial a temporary position there is an opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate in time.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the warehouse while supporting production and dispatch operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and checking incoming goods
• Inwards goods processing and stock receipting
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Supplying raw materials and packaging to production
• Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
• Inventory transactions and maintaining accurate stock records
• Cycle counts and stocktakes
• Completing warehouse documentation and computer entries
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping and warehouse organisation
• Working collaboratively to achieve daily operational targets
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Operator, Storeperson or Dispatch role
• Current OSH Forklift Certificate with practical operating experience (reach truck ideal)
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems (SAP or similar would be advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Good physical fitness and ability to complete manual handling tasks
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
• Reliable, punctual and committed to producing quality work
• A genuine commitment to workplace Health & Safety

To Be Considered You Must

• Must be a NZ citizen or resident
• Hold a current OSH Forklift Certificate
• Have a Full Class 1 Driver Licence
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Be able to pass a Ministry of Justice check
• Provide recent work references from supervisors
