Are you an experienced accountant on the lookout for a new challenge? Want to join a well-known organisation in Hamilton’s CBD? Our client is looking for a qualified accountant to provide quality support and advice to assist them in achieving their strategic and operational objectives.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Month end reporting
  • Reviewing month end results for issues and variances
  • Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
  • Strategic financial analysis and advice
  • Identifying, developing and monitoring cost reduction initiatives

The ideal candidate will be a qualified chartered accountant or hold a relevant tertiary qualification.

What you will bring to the team

  • At least 3 years’ business experience – specifically within strategic business or decision support
  • Sound knowledge of financial and accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel and PowerBI skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
