At INEX, they’re proud of the work they do - and just as proud of how they do it.
Our client, INEX, is New Zealand's leading aluminium extruder, proudly based in Te Rapa, Hamilton. For more than 25 years, they've been supplying high-quality aluminium products used in buildings, infrastructure, transport and everyday products across New Zealand and Australia.
INEX has built its reputation not only on the quality of its products, but on the people behind them. The business takes pride in doing the basics well, supporting one another and fostering a culture built on teamwork, respect and accountability. Employees are encouraged to contribute, continue learning and take pride in the role they play in the company's success.
The Opportunity
This is a great role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy organisation - keeping senior leaders organised, coordinating meetings and reporting, managing travel and events and making sure the many moving parts behind the scenes come together seamlessly.
Joining INEX means becoming part of a well-established New Zealand manufacturer where people genuinely look out for one another and everyone plays an important part in achieving shared goals.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be a central point of coordination across the business, someone who can anticipate what needs to happen, keep multiple priorities moving and make sure the details are taken care of.
A typical day may include:
- Supporting management team activities and priorities
- Preparing for meetings, including agendas, minutes and action tracking
- Maintaining project plans, schedules and action registers
- Arranging domestic and international travel, including bookings, changes and cancellations
- Organising staff functions, workshops, farewells and other company events
- Managing office supplies, records, equipment and general workplace support
- Providing general administration support across INEX and associated businesses
What will make you successful
You enjoy being the person who brings organisation and structure to a busy environment. You’re comfortable juggling requests from different people, know how to prioritise and don’t need to wait to be told what to do next.
A confident communicator, you are comfortable working with senior managers, following up on actions and ensuring things get done, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion. You’ll also bring an advanced Microsoft 365 skillset with the ability to quickly learn new systems, technology and digital tools.
Why INEX?
They’re building a reputation as a great employer in the Waikato - through action, not promises. Their people stay because they’re respected, supported and proud of the work they do.
INEX know that being a good employer means more than just turning up to be paid. At INEX, their benefits include:
- Free Southern Cross health insurance
- Life and income protection insurance
- Enhanced parental leave
- Habit Health+ access and EAP
- PERKS staff rewards and discounts
- Service recognition rewards
- Ongoing training, development and progression opportunities
