Your main focus will be to co-ordinate the efficient throughput of manufactured product to meet customer needs Nationally and Internationally and oversee the companies standards of quality, Health and Safety and GMP.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

•  Managing and overseeing the production team, schedules, packing, compounding, quality and other related areas 
•  Continuing to create a positive culture within the plant through solid leadership 
•  Oversee all Health and Safety matters for the company
•  Forecast labour, equipment, materials and supplies to meet production goals
•  Manage, train, recruit  appropriate staff to facilitate optimum operation
•  Improve and implement new production  processes and strategies with a focus on Continuous Improvement 
•  Manage preventative maintenance program

 

Skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a Production Management role within the manufacturing environment of Food, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical or other related industries
• A strong background in Lean optimisation
• A passion for Health and Safety
• Analytical skills to interpret information and figures with excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent leadership skills and a high level of motivation  and drive
• Exceptionally strong interpersonal communication skills
