We are advertising a 12-month contract vacancy with a public sector organization in Wellington. This role falls within their Identity Modernization Programme under the Client Identity Access Management Project. 

About the role responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients to gather requirements and design IAM solutions using Microsoft B2C technologies.
• Implement and configure Microsoft Azure AD B2C to provide secure and seamless access to consumer applications.
• Develop custom policies and user flows to meet specific business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, architects) to develop and integrate  IAM solutions seamlessly into existing systems and applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any technical issues related to IAM implementations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in IAM and data privacy and management
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in IAM technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the overall solution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and assist in their professional development.

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in implementing IAM solutions, preferably using Microsoft B2C technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure AD B2C, including policy customization, user flows, and identity federation.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript) and web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with identity protocols (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect) and standards (e.g., SAML).
• Experience integrating IAM solutions with other Microsoft products, such as Azure services and Dynamics 365 as well as on prem applications
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, Azure Security Engineer) are a plus.
