Are you an experienced professional from emergency services, air traffic control, civil defence, or a similar fast-paced, high-stakes environment? We're seeking a skilled Critical Event Response Tactician to join our client’s dynamic team managing a major urban transport network.
This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in a new and challenging context, leveraging your skills in critical decision-making, stakeholder management, and rapid response coordination.
As a Critical Event Response Tactician, you'll:
- Manage real-time responses to a wide range of incidents affecting a complex urban transport system
- Coordinate multiple agencies and resources to minimise disruption and ensure public safety
- Analyse situations quickly and implement effective tactical solutions
- Provide leadership and strategic guidance during critical events
- Utilise advanced communication systems and data analysis tools
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing incident response from a central control centre
- Liaising with emergency services, local authorities, and other key stakeholders
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
Ideal candidates will have:
- Significant experience in emergency response, control centre operations, or similar high-pressure environments
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills under pressure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Adaptability and composure in rapidly changing situations
- Familiarity with modern communication and data management systems
We're particularly interested in professionals from backgrounds such as:
- Police or Fire and Emergency services
- Air Traffic Control
- Ambulance or Rapid Response Coordination
- Civil Defence or Disaster Management

Working schedule: Monday to Friday:
- 05:00 - 13:00 Morning shift
- 12:00 - 20:00 Afternoon shift Weekend hours by agreement (Reactive to extraordinary events)
