We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or GP to join our client's growing team. This is a flexible opportunity with the option to work virtually from anywhere in NZ, in person based in Taranaki, or through a combination of both, depending on your preferences and the needs of the patients.

This is a permanent opportunity, and the client is flexible about what your week looks like in terms of number of sessions etc. 

You will play an important role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care, working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team.

About the Role

Your responsibilities may include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and clinical consultations
• Diagnosing and managing a range of acute and chronic health conditions
• Developing and reviewing individualised treatment and care plans
• Prescribing and managing medications within your scope of practice
• Providing health education, preventative care and clinical advice
• Ordering and interpreting appropriate investigations
• Referring patients to other healthcare professionals and services when required
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Working collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team
• Providing safe, professional and culturally responsive care

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a registered Nurse Practitioner or GP with current registration and a practising certificate
• Has relevant clinical experience and strong assessment and decision-making skills
• Is confident working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care
• Is comfortable using digital health and clinical systems
