The opportunity:
My client is a large healthcare organisation who is looking for a strong Administrator/ Receptionist to start ASAP. This will be between 20 to 32 hours per week and hours of work will be Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5.00 pm. We're looking for a polished Administrator who is not only an excellent communicator and the customer service to match but is also great with systems. This role will suit someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment and if you have worked in a healthcare environment even better!. My client is needing someone to start ASAP and this role will be for 4-6 weeks and you may be asked to help out in the future if they have staff off. This role will be based in East Hamilton.
You do not need to necessarily had any reception experience as this can be taught.
The role, in a nutshell:
Some of your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Providing outstanding customer service and front line reception
- Accounts payable or admin experience
- Answer telephone calls, providing accurate information, provide further assistance to satisfy patients’ inquiries, maintaining open communication with clients, and attending to patients’ current needs
- Accurate data entry, and adhering to confidentiality protocols
- General administration duties and providing office support as required
- Contribute positively to the team environment
To be successful in this role:
- Reception experience would be ideal
- Accounts background
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is advantageous (but not required)
- Strong grammar, oral, and written skills
- Fast and accurate data entry and administration skills
- Either permanent residency or NZ citizenship
