Quality Control Inspector
We are in need of a QC Inspector for a large Facility and Remediation construction programme in Auckland.
This role will ensure all works being carried out meet applicable standards and legislative governance.
This programme is a long term Programme, approximately 9 years to go.
Thus the role has some longevity attached to it.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for recording daily inspections and surveillance reports with photographic evidence to Procore.
- Responsible for ensuring all paperwork, documents, QCP/ITP are signed off daily, snag or defect lists are populated within Procore and PM’s are kept UpToDate daily on all quality issues.
- Responsible for surveillance inspections to act as an early warning mechanism for issues related to program and potential non-conformance.
- Responsible for investigating, analyzing, containing and correcting quality problems related to final products.
- Perform audits and implement new strategies to improve the condition of design, project and/or manufacturing quality systems.
- Internal QA Audits
Key Skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite of programs such as Excel, Word and Procore.
- Ability to persuasively interact with clients, customers and employees.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Working knowledge of quality audit techniques.
- A minimum of 5 years’ engineering trade experience in a multi-disciplinary construction project/manufacturing environment with good knowledge of mechanical principles and practice.

- ISO Internal Auditor
- Building Surveyors qualification (NZ Building code knowledge)
- Previous experience on complex design and construct projects
- Management / leadership skills
