Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Auckland, Northshore

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with strong application management expertise, particularly in overseeing application stacks and optimising their efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing and managing projects using Plain View PPM Tool and other relevant tools to streamline application usage across businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and advising on end-to-end project delivery lifecycle for application integration and optimisation projects.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of application stacks across the organisation to identify overlaps and redundancies.
  • Develop strategies to integrate and consolidate applications to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align application strategies with organisational goals.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with application integration and optimisation projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency in application usage across the organisation.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 8 years plus as a Project Manager, specifically in application management and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Plain View PPM Tool and other similar project portfolio management tools.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, including cloud-based and on-premise solutions.
  • Experience in reviewing application stacks to identify opportunities for integration and efficiency improvements.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end project delivery lifecycle for application integration and optimisation projects.
  • Experience with project teams in implementing application integration initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

 

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Independent contracting
  • $800 per day, plus GST ($100 p/h plus GST)

Requires one to be onsite with some flexibility to work from home.

Duration – 2 months, to start in November 2024
