Cyber Security Architect/ Assurance - 6 Month Contract Role
Background:
A critical need has arisen for a Cyber Security Architect to fill an important role within the team. The position requires a skilled professional to provide cyber security assurance consultancy throughout the lifecycle of systems, from inception to ongoing assurance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Security Risk Assessments in collaboration with business stakeholders.

Define Non-Functional Requirements and design controls through workshops and design reviews.

Plan and execute Control Validation audits to ensure compliance.

Prepare detailed Certification and Accreditation memos for senior stakeholders, outlining risks and required remediation actions.
Key Skills and Expertise Required:

Proven experience in providing cyber security assurance consultancy from system inception to operational phases.

Ability to assess and validate complex system designs and security controls.

Proficiency in developing and executing Security Risk Assessments and Control Validation plans.

Strong capability in preparing concise Certification and Accreditation memos.

Deep knowledge of ICT security technologies and solutions.

Experience with Microsoft platforms (Azure, Power Platform) and/or data warehouse environments is advantageous.

Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships across various levels of a government organization.

Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to navigate and simplify complex technical and business environments.
