Our client is a leading New Zealand manufacturer and distributor of Door & Window Sealing Systems, Cleaning Products, Hardware and Homeware products who are seeking a Warehouse Leading Hand to join their high performing team based in Middleton, Christchurch 

This NZ-owned manufacturing company services the whole of NZ and needs a experienced Warehouse Stores person to support the warehouse ensuring products are moving and being stored effectively. Opportunity to step up and supervise staff when necessary. 

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm

 

General tasks of the role are as follows:

• Pick packing & despatching orders
• Receiving inwards goods
• Container devanning
• General warehouse duties & computer work
• Liaise with freight companies to arrange collection and deliveries 
• Cover the Operations Manager when needed, this is to oversee the small team to ensure warehouse operates smoothly
• Basic assembly of some product lines if needed

To be considered you must:

• Hold a valid counterbalance forklift license
• Good communication and computer literate
• Have at least 1 year warehousing experience
• Be a team player
• Physically fit
