Manufacturing from their South Auckland purpose-built facility this successful privately owned Pharmaceutical company is experiencing fantastic growth.  Over the last 40 years they have established an excellent reputation.  Producing a wide range of products for personal health and animal health preparations their products are used locally and internationally.  The plant is run under strict cGMP compliance meeting the exacting standards required in their industry. Due to their growth, they are seeking 2 Manufacturing Technicians to manufacture veterinary and human health products (personal care) by assisting in the dispensing of raw materials and manufacture of products. 

You will be actively involved in continuous improvement of quality and efficiency in agreed departments within the facility.  You will also maintain defined standards of Safety, GMP and Production efficiencies and output.

To be considered for this role you will have had experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing with preference given to candidates who previous dispensary and compounding experience. 

Skills sought are:

  • Previous experience in Pharmaceutical, Veterinary or FMCG manufacturing (pastes, lotions and cream-based products in a GMP manufacturing environment)
  • Able to take ownership and responsibility “Right First Time”
  • Mechanical aptitude, able to assemble, install, operate, calibrate and maintain equipment, adjusting for optimal performance.
  • High attention to detail and previous experience following GMP and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work from SOP’s and strong knowledge of Batch Manufacturing and Batch Packing records and documentation
  • Experience with line clearances and process checks
  • Able to operate equipment in accordance to SOP’s, WI and BPR instructions
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance principals in a cGMP environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills.
