Our client is a leading international agri-business that produces edible oils for a wide range of quality food ingredients and animal feed products. They are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Welder to join their team.

About the role:

• Responsible for overseeing and managing a preventative maintenance program (both planned and unplanned maintenance), within the Spreads and Refinery plants
• Ensure that plant repairs and maintenance are completed in timely and cost-effective manner
• Maintain routine records of work orders and maintains activities
• Estimate required materials for maintenance projects

The role is Monday to Friday with a reasonable amount of additional weekend work when required - overtime is a requirement.

About you:

• Must be qualified as a Welder or Boiler Maker, with experience in food manufacturing, petrochemical, or materials handling industries
• Experience in TIG Welding and experience with hygienic dairy tubing and Steam-In-Place (SIP) is critical
• Experience dealing with (FMCG) high speed machinery and packaging equipment advantageous
• Computing skills: Intermediate-Advanced Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
• Excellent time management and the ability to be flexible with working hours
