Our client is a large public sector organisation who are looking for a driven and experienced Programme Director. 

This role is located in Wellington Central and is responsible for implementing a procurement change piece and leading significant procurement change programmes.

You will be reshaping the organisation's procurement and this is a sole role to begin with. 

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate that you have:

  • Previous experience managing and leading a team 
  • Strong project management skills and experience 
  • Significant change management and programme experience 
  • A strong understanding of the machinery of government 
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong understanding of change management principles
  • Previous experience delivering a system change 

An understanding of procurement is highly desirable. 

A tertiary qualification is highly desirable.
