They are seeking a suitably qualified Social Worker or Addictions Caseworker with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to join the residential team in Central Auckland. Ideally they are looking for a male practitioner to help bring balance to the team.

Salary: $68,000 – $102,000 per annum (pay equity agreement applies; salary dependent on experience)

The Candidate:

• Must be entitled to work in New Zealand
• Have valid registration to practise as a counsellor or AOD Practitioner in NZ
• High Level of verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain therapeutic relationships.
• Level 7 or higher in Mental Health, Psychology, Alcohol or Drug Studies.

The Role:

• Full time permanent position
• Central Auckland based
• Monday to Friday; 8am-4:30pm
• External and Internal Clinical Supervision
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
• Develop, implement, and review personalized treatment plans.
• Offer guidance and support to clients, fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
