About Our Client:
Our client is a respected provider of Residential Aged Care Facilities throughout New Zealand. They are committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and improving performance within their facilities. They are seeking qualified and passionate Client Services Managers to join their team across multiple locations.

All roles are full-time, 40 hours per week (with on-call component)

Role Overview:
As a Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing staff in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA Act), supporting the Facility Manager, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. You will play an integral role in promoting continuous improvements in the facilities, ensuring a safe and positive environment for both staff and residents.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to staff, ensuring compliance with the HPCA Act.
  • Assist and support the Facility Manager in the effective management and operational oversight of the facility.
  • Actively participate in the facility's Quality and Risk Management Programme, driving continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and maintain the highest standards of care for residents.
  • Oversee resident clinical records to ensure compliance with organizational and legislative requirements.
  • Engage in all aspects of human resource management, including staff development and support.
  • Co-ordinate the use and provision of clinical supplies, ensuring cost-effective and efficient allocation of resources.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of educational programmes for staff.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring a safe environment for both residents and staff.
  • In the absence of the Facility Manager, take on their responsibilities and manage the facility effectively.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required to support the facility’s operations.

Requirements:

  • Registered with NZ Nursing Council with a current practicing certificate.
  • Proven leadership experience in a healthcare or aged care setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the HPCA Act and its application within the healthcare environment.
  • Strong experience in clinical management, including oversight of resident care and clinical documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality care while maintaining cost control.
  • Previous involvement in quality and risk management processes, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and their families.
  • Flexibility and ability to be on-call as required for facility needs.
