Our client is looking for a Senior Advisor to join existing team to provide some analytical and written capability to support some operational policy work as part of a systems review project. The objective of the role is to produce a report and recommendations based on a performance review of an electronic reporting system. The hourly rate contract will ideally start early to mid-April and will be for 3 months initially. The role will ideally be based in Christchurch, but can also be located in Wellington. Note that there is reporting systems knowledge in house, so we need a contractor with strong analytical and written communication skills.

Looking for someone that covers the following:

• Operational policy development and analysis
• Strong analytical skills set
• Excellent writing skills
• Understanding of the machinery of government
• Ability to be hands on with the work that is required
• Some project management skills would be beneficial
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
