We represent one of the North Shore's most prestigious luxury car dealerships. Our client is seeking a Wheel and Tyre Specialist. Due to a significant growth phase, our client is opening a Wheel & Tyre division on a separate site. This role allows you to work for one of Auckland’s most prestigious car dealerships in a new division.

The Role

If you have a passion for not only people but also wheels & tyres, and believe that you can deliver a “5 Star Service” then this is the role for you! 

The role itself is a customer facing role. Our client is looking for a well presented team member who isn’t afraid to put on a pair of overalls and muck in if necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to view it as their “own” business within the wider business.

To be considered for this diverse role you need to demonstrate the following:

• New business acquisition
• Managing the Wheel and Tyre technician as a direct report
• All wheels & tyres enquiries through all facets of the business
• Opening a new wheel and tyre workshop
• Upselling of wheels & tyres
• Maintaining stock
• TradeMe shop 
• Service Customer Vehicle appraisals
• All phone enquiries
• Nurturing and growing relationships with suppliers
• Growing the division and its services through extended dealership links
• Support of online sales
• Reporting
• Online marketing
• Generating weekly stock reports
• Working alongside the Fleet Specialist to create packages

The ideal candidate for our client will demonstrate the following:

• Clear communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Understanding of wheel sizes/offsets and tyre sizings
• No job is too big or too small for you to handle
• Excellent time management
• Excellent PC skills
• Personally well-presented and polished
• Possess the drive and vision to join the team on their long term journey together

On Offer

As well as the base salary, you also have the opportunity to earn commission. On top of this you will be given a company phone.
