Our client RealSure seek a motivated Qualified Builder to fill the role of a Building Surveyor within our their friendly and customer focused building surveying team. You will be able to utilise your current knowledge and experience, whilst moving off the tools! You receive full training and work towards an BOINZ Accreditation.
RealSure provides NZS Standard compliant, detailed reports on the soundness, workmanship and weathertightness, along with any defects, faults or potential problems that may be visually evident, in residential property. Their clients rely on this expert advice to make a decision on what may be the biggest single residential transaction of their life. The role is predominately inspecting homes for the buyers and sellers of residential properties, and to provide:
Clients with a visual inspection and report designed to give them independent expert advice.
Dependable, knowledgeable, and consultative service.
Advice on problem solving.
Ideally you will have:
An appropriate knowledge of residential house construction, product knowledge, and installation.
A sound knowledge of the building industry codes, standards, regulations, and the Building Act.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Customer focus and an enthusiasm in helping others is important.
Good organisational skills, an ability to work a proven system and meet deadlines.
An ability to work independently while enjoying a team environment.
You must have a relevant Building qualification and a current drivers licence.
Full training is provided culminating in BOINZ Accreditation.
