The company and opportunity: 

Our client is private healthcare provider affiliated with Southern Cross providing treatment for varicose veins and vein health, based in Remuera. 

They are looking for a casual Health Care Assistant to work 1 - 2 days a week. The key to this position is your passion for working with patients to provide a positive caring experience putting patients at ease along with ensuring the service provided is efficient.  You will be working with a passionate close knit team.

As a Health Care Assistant, some of your key areas of responsibility will include:

• Acting as a chaperone for female clients while undergoing treatment by a male sonographer
• Cleaning up all equipment in line with procedural sterilising policy
• Cleaning and looking after all the clinic spaces 
• Taking photographs of patient's leg areas for treatment
• Great communication and interpersonal skills 
• Being able to provide quality care to patients

• Effective communication written and verbal
• Previous clinical experience
