We have a great opportunity available for experienced communications professional to join a busy communications team located within the health sector. 

This role is starting asap till the end of June for now but could extend. 

If you are an experienced communications coordinator/advisor who is very hands on and is happy working within pressurised environments with tight deadlines then these roles would be excellent opportunities.  

The Role

• Providing strategic communications advice to Executive Leadership Team
• Writing a variety of communications across a variety of platforms and mediums
• Coordination of media enquiries 
• Assist with preparation of media interviews if required
• Proactive media communications 
• Assisting with content for fortnightly for intranet and regular staff newsletters 
• Maintaining home page of intranet with news and information relevant to staff
• Creation and scheduling of original content across social media channels 
• Monitoring of feedback (public and private) on social media channels
• General coordination and oversight of any events or official visits 
• Liaison with external communications stakeholders 
• Other adhoc communications as required 

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant degree/Qualification in communications (not marketing orientated) 
• Experience working in a communications team with a large organisation
• Strong writing skills – with the ability to write across a wide range of channels and platforms 
• High level of language and grammar skills
• The ability to work collaboratively
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Up-to-date knowledge of communication methods.
• Good judgement and be able to make effective decisions.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• The ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
