In this role you will have:

• A cooking qualification and previous experience within healthcare/aged care an advantage
• Good knowledge of cooking a wide range of meals that fit specific dietary requirements.
• The ability to create/manage a range of menus on a 4 weekly rotation basis that utilise the best in season ingredients on a budget
• Experience in stock control and ordering
• Pride in always providing quality meals with a classic European palate
• Experience managing and overseeing other kitchen staff
• The flexibility to cover weekends and week day shifts
• A high degree of food hygiene including preparing and storing of food
• A friendly and professional manner when liaising with staff and residents
