An excellent part time temporary opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator / coordinator to join a busy team in a large health organisation on Auckland's North Shore.
The key duties of this role will include:
- Managing the responsibilities of the organisation as outlined in the National Travel Assistance Policy
- Co-coordinating National Travel Assistance and providing advice on alternative transport assistance to outpatients.
- Ensuring cost-effectiveness, and consistency and equity of access to National Travel Assistance
- Interpreting data and implementing systems and processes to ensure desired outcomes are reached
- Preparation and presentation of reports
- Facilitating information and training sessions
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Auditing and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft packages and the ability to pick up systems quickly
- Preferably understanding of The New National Travel and Accommodation Assistance Policy and knowledge of the NZ public health system and medical terminology
This is a temporary assignment starting in early January for a minimum of 12 weeks. You must be available to work 20 hours per week over 5 days.
