An excellent part time temporary opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator / coordinator to join a busy team in a large health organisation on Auckland's North Shore.

The key duties of this role will include:

  • Managing the responsibilities of the organisation as outlined in the National Travel Assistance Policy
  • Co-coordinating National Travel Assistance and providing advice on alternative transport assistance to outpatients.
  • Ensuring cost-effectiveness, and consistency and equity of access to National Travel Assistance
  • Interpreting data and implementing systems and processes to ensure desired outcomes are reached
  • Preparation and presentation of reports
  • Facilitating information and training sessions

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Auditing and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages and the ability to pick up systems quickly
  • Preferably understanding of The New National Travel and Accommodation Assistance Policy and knowledge of the NZ public health system and medical terminology

This is a temporary assignment starting in early January for a minimum of 12 weeks.  You must be available to work 20 hours per week over 5 days.
