Ready for a change of pace and a new adventure? We’re looking for a Registered Mental Health Clinician to join a specialist Older Persons Mental Health team in Taranaki — an exciting opportunity for someone who is open to relocating to beautiful New Plymouth.

In this role, you’ll provide assessment, treatment and care coordination for older adults experiencing mental health, addiction and cognitive health needs. You’ll work across community, home and hospital settings as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

What you’ll need

• Current Nursing Council of New Zealand registration and APC
• Experience in mental health nursing
• Experience working with older people or complex mental health presentations is preferred
• Strong assessment, communication and care coordination skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• An understanding of Māori models of health and culturally responsive practice
• Full New Zealand driver licence
