Xuba is a growing IT services and support business supporting clients across New Zealand. We’re looking for an experienced Accounts & Admin professional to join their team to keep the finances and office running smoothly.
This is a part-time role and hours can be negotiated for the right candidate (21-30hrs per week). You’ll be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable and receivable, client invoicing, statements, reconciliations and payroll. Working closely with the Directors, the role is varied and includes general admin, light HR support and project work.
What you’ll be doing
- Accounts payable & receivable using Xero
- Client invoicing, statements, reconciliations & overdue follow-ups
- Daily bank and credit card reconciliations
- Weekly payroll, PAYE, GST and other NZ tax obligations
- Month-end processes and liaison with Directors and external accountants
- General admin and light HR support
- Collating data from multiple external online portals for monthly invoicing requirements
About you
You’ll bring proven accounts and administration experience with strong Xero and excel skills, a solid understanding of NZ payroll and employment legislation and a high level of accuracy and organisation. You’re a savvy Xero user who can work alongside external accountants to keep month-end running seamlessly. You’re comfortable working autonomously, meeting deadlines, staying calm under month-end pressure and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
