About the role and team...
Are you an administrator living in Christchurch and looking for a role in the new year?
This is a 6 month assignment between February 2024 until July or August based in Christchurch West, in Halswell.
You will be working with social workers in this role, mostly.
The manager has been with the organisation for several years, and has hands-on knowledge of the roles she manages. The team has a great dynamic and culture. Staff in this team have been promoted internally in the past, and they have low attrition.
Training will be provided for the systems and team-specific information and processes.
Once you are fully trained, there is flexibility for 1 or 2 days working from home.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role...
- Assistance setting up meetings
- Taking meeting minutes and action points
- Setting up rosters
- Documentation and record-keeping
- Financial administration
- Taking incoming calls, reception, and filing
- Booking travel for the team
We are looking for someone who...
- Is based in Christchurch with right to work in New Zealand
- Has some experience in administration
- Can pick up systems easily, and is comfortable with Microsoft Suite, including Teams
- Has experience in taking minutes and action points
